India attracted the world’s attention prior to the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement in December last year, with its ambitious target to achieve 175GW of renewable power —100GW from solar, 60GW from wind, 10GW from bio-power and 5GW from small hydropower—by 2022.

In an article in one of India’s leading business publications, minister for new and renewable energy Piyush Goyal shared the country’s intent to lead the world in clean energy.
