As France and Singapore mark 60 years of diplomatic relations, their partnership stands as proof that collaboration built on trust, innovation, and shared ambition delivers real results in the energy transition. From hydrogen pilots to smart grid projects, both countries are shaping the systems that will define Asia’s energy future. Ms Carine Lespayandel, Executive Director, French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Singapore (FCCI), shares how French innovation and Singapore's policy leadership are laying the groundwork for a cleaner, more connected region. About Carine Lespayandel, Executive Director, French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (FCCS)

Ms Carine Lespayandel joined the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (FCCS) in December 2002, and has served as its Executive Director since 2009. Before relocating to Singapore, she spent two years in London as Head of Franchises for Habitat. She also previously held senior positions in France with Habitat and Pierre Fabre Laboratories.

Based in Singapore since 2001 and a Singapore Permanent Resident, Ms Lespayandel was awarded the title of Knight of the French National Order of Merit in 2009.
