The Energy Market Authority of Singapore (EMA) and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) invite you to join us for an interactive discussion on “Accelerating Renewable Energy Deployment in Southeast Asia” at the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi Sustainable Week 2020.

In recent years, ASEAN has stepped up efforts to increase the deployment of renewables to meet its growing energy demand in a sustainable manner. Accelerating the deployment of renewable energy requires policies that create an environment for attracting investments.

During the session, policy makers and energy experts will discuss the renewable energy landscape in ASEAN, identify key barriers and explore how policies and financial solutions can serve to attract more investment, to achieve the ambitious renewables goals set for the region.

Hear from Ms Desiree Tung, Deputy Director, External Relations Department, EMA; Ms Kavita Gandhi, Executive Director, Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore; Ms Marissa Cerezo, Director III, Renewable Energy Management Bureau, the Philippines; and Ms Badariah Yosiyana, Programme Officer, Southeast Asia, IRENA at this interactive session.
