Thank you for joining us for a week of energy discussions, high-level dialogues and networking at SIEW 2020, presented this year in a unique hybrid format. The event attracted more than 30 Ministers and 300 speakers globally, and saw up to 250 participants onsite and over 20,000 online viewers from over 80 countries.

SIEW 2020 Day 1 (26 October)

Singapore’s Minister for Trade and Industry, Mr Chan Chun Sing shared his vision for Singapore to become a 'Bright Green Spark’. The Singapore Energy Summit gathered global industry and government leaders to discuss the transition to a low carbon energy future. The Summit also featured a special “In Conversation" session with His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, Minister of Energy, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Co-hosted with IEA, the 2nd Global Ministerial Conference on System Integration of Renewables sparked a lively discussion on key enablers to accelerate renewables integration and power system resilience.		SIEW Energy Insights featured in-depth sessions helmed by SP Group, A*STAR and the Singapore Battery Consortium, and ENGIE. Singapore signed two separate MOUs to increase bilateral energy cooperation with Malaysia and Hong Kong.

This year’s SIEW Thinktank Roundtables spanned a wide range of energy topics, hosted by the likes of ASEAN Centre for Energy, IRENA, and the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore.		Youth@SIEW provided a platform for the next generation of energy innovators to share their ideas for a more resilient energy sector.

SIEW partner events Asia Clean Energy Summit, Asian Downstream Summit & ARTC, and LNG & Hydrogen Gas Markets Asia, showcased the latest in renewables, downstream developments, and emerging gas market dynamics.
