About Puan Siti Safinah Salleh, CEO, Energy Commission of Malaysia

Appointed on 19 February 2025, Puan Siti Safinah Salleh serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Energy Commission Malaysia (Suruhanjaya Tenaga). In her role, she guides Malaysia's electricity and piped gas regulatory agenda and plays a key role in shaping ASEAN-wide energy integration under Malaysia's current chairmanship.

Previously, she was CEO of MyPower Corporation where she led reforms in Malaysia's electricity supply industry since 2021. She has also held leadership roles at Khazanah Nasional Berhad, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), and VCAP Asset Managers. She started her career as a software engineer at TM Applied Business Sdn Bhd, before joining the company's Human Resources and Administration.

Puan Siti holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering at Multimedia University, an MBA in Strategic Management from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and a Mid-Career MPA and Mason Fellow in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School.
