The Outlook will examine current energy dynamics and challenges in Southeast Asia, and set out detailed forecasts for energy sector development in the region to 2040. The Forum will commence with a keynote address by the ASEAN Secretary General Dato Lim Jock Hoi, and a presentation by the IEA Director of Energy Security and Markets Keisuke Sadamori. This will be followed by two high-level panel discussions addressing the opportunities and challenges in Southeast Asia’s energy landscape, as well as systems integration of renewable energy in Southeast Asia.
