Alvin is the Deputy Director of Digital Grid in SP PowerGrid Ltd (SPPG). He has been with SPPG for over 10 years, with experiences in electricity network planning, operation and maintenance to provide reliable supply to industrial, commercial and residential customers in Singapore.

He is currently heading the Digital Grid section in the piloting of new technologies such as Digital Twin, Vehicle-to-Grid and Smart Grid systems to build capabilities and prepare the grid for the future energy landscape.

He is a registered Professional Engineer and holds a Msc in Future Power Networks from Imperial College London.
