Darryl Chan heads the Energy Technologies Department as well as the Data & Analytics Department in the Energy Market Authority of Singapore (EMA). The Energy Technologies Department assesses the feasibility of emerging energy technologies for potential deployment in Singapore, while the Data & Analytics Department oversees whole-of-government’s energy data collection, publication and research. 

Darryl holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (Electrical Engineering, 1st Class Honours, 2008) and a Master of Science degree (Management of Technology, 2012). Both degrees were attained from the National University of Singapore. He joined the public service in 2010.
