Mr. Li Rui is the head of Guangdong Guangzhou Power Supply Bereau(GZPS) of China Southern Power Grid(CSG). GZPS runs Guangzhou power grid, which is the largest urban power grid of CSG. Guangzhou’s index of access to electricity, evaluated by the World Bank, ranked 2nd in China and its reliability index has ranked top 3 among Chinese major cities. GZPS has rich practical experience in power grid digitalization, energy low-carbon transformation and technology innovation.

Mr. Li Rui has been working for China Southern Power Grid for more than 30 years. Since 2018, he became one of the senior managers of CSG. He used to work in Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau(another mega-city power grid of CSG), and Production Technology Department as well as Innovation Management Department of CSG. He has unique expertise in the fields of power grid asset management, innovation management, corporate management, etc.. He received his PhD degree from Tsinghua University and is authenticated as a professor-level senior engineer.
