Miguel de Vera is Head for New Business and Technologies at Energy Development Corporation (or EDC) from the Philippines. EDC is the world’s largest vertically-integrated geothermal power producer, with over 1,200 MW of geothermal power capacity in operation today, an additional 100 MW under construction, and at least 800 MW more under development, including internationally. EDC is a diversifi ed, 100% renewable energy company, with 300 MW of operational assets in Wind, Solar, and Hydro, in addition to geothermal. EDC is growing its renewables portfolio with projects in energy storage, off shore wind, geothermal, and solar either under construction or in development.
