Ralph Foong currently serves as Deputy Chief Executive (Energy Planning & Development and Corporate Services) at Singapore’s Energy Market Authority (EMA).
Ralph has previously served in a variety of roles at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), across different portfolios: Singapore Businesses; Strategic Growth Partners / New Ventures; Americas; India & the Middle East; Precision Engineering; Transport Engineering; and Infocomms & Media.
Ralph is a Glaxo-EDB scholar who graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Science from the University of California, Berkeley. He is also a Sloan Fellow with a Master of Business Administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)’s Sloan School of Management. He was previously a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF)’s Steering Committee on Shaping the Future of Production Systems in response to the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
In his own personal time, Ralph serves on the North West Community Development Council, Bukit Panjang Citizens’ Consultative Committee, the Audit and SEAA Steering Committees of the Singapore Environment Council, and the New Town Secondary School Advisory Committee.
