Alex is the Engineering and Technology Integration Leader for Climate Technology Solutions at Baker Hughes. He oversees the segment’s R&D, engineering strategy, capability development, and innovation. Alex is an internationally recognized scientist and technology leader – having received the prestigious Solvay Prize for Outstanding Scientists, awarded by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry, the Wilhelm Ostwald Award (in honor of the 1909 Nobel Prize Winner in Chemistry) and the ALLY Energy ESG and Climate Champion Award. He holds joint Ph.D. degrees in Materials Science and Chemical Engineering Sciences. Alex is passionate about science communication and uses various platforms to provide equitable access to the masses.
