Dr Owen Chen is the Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Concord New Energy Group, an international enterprise with 5,000MW of renewable energy investments in China, United States, Europe and South Korea. Dr Owen Chen leads CNE’s research on wind power, solar energy, hydregon technology and other clean technologies. He is also the Chairman of Edge Power Technology Co., Ltd., an energy storage company of CNE. Meanwhile, he was the co-founder and vice chairman of China Energy Storage Alliance promoting the development of energy storage technology and industry in China. He participated in founding and served as a member of the Energy Storage Expert Committee of the Energy Research Society of the National Energy Administration.
