Douglas is a seasoned global business manager with over 15 years of experience leading teams and developing businesses in the Energy and Energy Storage sectors across Asia and the USA. He has a diverse background in sales, strategy, engineering, finance, and people management, having worked for renowned companies such as Dresser Wayne, GE, and Diebold Nixdorf. Starting his career as an engineer at Cobasys in Detroit, USA, he designed battery systems for early electric vehicles.

Douglas has held various roles in business development and sales across the Asia Pacific, including Singapore and Hong Kong. Currently, he manages the strategic development team at Durapower Group, a leading Singapore-based lithium battery company, focusing on revenue growth, partnerships, and M&A activities.

Holding an MBA from INSEAD and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Rice University, Douglas is passionate about e-mobility and green energy, and enjoys angel investing in his spare time.
