Paula Conboy is an experienced regulatory economist and corporate director. In addition to running her own consultancy business and acting as senior counsel to Sussex Strategy Group in Canada, Paula sits on the boards of the Singapore Energy Market Authority, PJM Interconnection, America’s largest RTO and ISO and Zen Energy, a leading renewable electricity retailer in Australia.   

Paula is the former Chair of the Australian Energy Regulator, member of Australia’s Energy Security Board and Ontario Energy Board member (Canada).  She has also held executive positions at PowerStream Inc (now Alectra Inc. Canada's largest municipally owned electricity distributor) and Sydney Water Corporation in Australia.

Paula holds a Master of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics from Guelph University in Canada and is a Graduate of both the National Association of Corporate Directors in the United States and the Australian Institute of Corporate Directors.
