Dr. Priyank Lathwal is an Energy Specialist working in the World Bank's East Asia and Pacific region. He brings operational experience and expertise in reducing energy use in hard-to-abate sectors, including shipping, trucking, and aviation. At the World Bank, Priyank helped establish the hydrogen and industrial decarbonization programs and has been a consultant for the Gates Foundation, Foreign Policy, and Ashoka. Previously, he was a Research Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, working on energy systems and climate policy issues. He holds a joint Ph.D. and M.S. in Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University and a management degree from Columbia Business School.
