Dr Hoffmann has been Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Danish Ministry since April 2017 and has been responsible for CCS from its first introduction as tool in Danish climate policy in 2020. Dr. Hoffmann is also deeply involved in a number of key International Energy Agency (IEA) initiatives, including being chair of the IEA’s Governing Board. He previously served as Deputy Director General of the Danish Business Authority.
