Andy was appointed Executive Vice President Strategy in August 2024. He joined Woodside in 2022 as Executive Vice President Exploration & Development, responsible for delivering a global portfolio of growth options.

Previously, Andy was the Vice President of Sustainability and Innovation for BHP’s Petroleum business, overseeing all ESG, HSE and Innovation activities within Petroleum’s portfolio. He held several other leadership positions, including Vice President of Business Development where he supported the sale of the US Shale division and led the acquisition of the Trion Field in Mexico.

Prior to joining BHP, Andy spent 15 years with Marathon Oil Corporation working throughout the value chain, holding roles including Gulf of Mexico Appraisal Manager and Predevelopment Manager for Poland.

Andy holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde Glasgow.
