Chua Yong-Hwee is currently the Managing Director, Energy Nexus, Infrastructure Division of Keppel Limited. The Energy Nexus team provides industrial utilities to Jurong Island customers and has been tasked to develop decarbonization solutions such as low carbon fuels (e.g. hydrogen and its derivatives) and carbon capture utilization and sequestration pathways.

Prior to joining Keppel Limited in 2019, Yong-Hwee was the Chief Operating Officer for Air Liquide Singapore. During his stint with Air Liquide, he took on several roles including Commercial Director and General Manager of Large Industries, Industrial Merchant and Healthcare business lines in Singapore and Malaysia.

Yong-Hwee started his career with the Energy and Chemicals Cluster in the Economic Development Board of Singapore and was responsible for attracting foreign investments and developing selected industries in Singapore and was actively involved in the reclamation of Jurong Island and the development of the petrochemicals industries in Singapore.

Yong-Hwee graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Masters in Chemical Engineering Practice and Bachelors in Economics from the University of California Berkeley.
