With over 13 years of experience in banking and finance across Asia Pacific, Ms. Alembik is a seasoned Investment Specialist currently in the Private Sector Infrastructure Finance Division at the Asian Development Bank based in Singapore and covering Southeast Asia. She has been working on climate finance initiatives across diverse industries and geographies, overseeing numerous high-impact transactions such as the Green Yellow Smart Solutions Rooftop Solar Project (Viet Nam), the first C&I rooftop financing on a non-recourse basis done in the country; the Monsoon Wind Power Project (Lao), the first wind farm in Lao PDR, first cross border wind farm in Asia, largest wind farm in Southeast Asia; the Prime Road National Solar Park IPP Project (Cambodia), the Bangkok Mass Rapid Transit Project (Pink and Yellow Lines) (Thailand) and more recently the GSA green data center project (Thailand), ADB’s first data center financing, amongst others. Her passion for development was sparked during her internship at Grameen Bank in Bangladesh, and it continues to drive her commitment to sustainable finance and inclusive growth strategies across the region.

Before joining ADB in 2017, Ms Alembik worked for BNP Paribas in HK in Acquisition and Leverage Finance. She holds a Master of Finance from Sciences Po Strasbourg in France and has obtained numerous online certifications in the field of development. She completed an exchange program at Jawaharlal Nehru University in India where she studied Hindi and Indian Political Sciences. Ms. Alembik has a passion for languages and is fluent in French, English, and Hindi, with proficiency in German, Spanish and Thai. Aside from work, she has been involved in grass-roots actions for refugees.
