David Chui serves as OCBC’s Head of Structured and Project Finance in London, covering the UK / European market, a position he has held since joining the organisation in 2020. With over 15 years of experience in Project and Infrastructure Finance, David has developed diverse expertise across EMEA in various sectors. His background includes significant work in power generation and transmission—both conventional and renewable—as well as utilities, encompassing electricity / gas networks, water / waste treatment and district heating. The core focus of his team is currently on energy transition activities and digital infrastructure.

Before his current role at OCBC, David worked in Project Finance at several institutions, including RBS and Credit Industriel et Commercial (CIC), where he has held positions in Origination, Business Management, and Portfolio Management. He holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) and is also a Chartered Accountant with ICAS.
