Francisco Pinheiro Catalão serves as Executive Board Member and CFO at AICEP – Portugal’s Trade & Investment Agency, where he works to help companies expand internationally and attract investment to Portugal. He is also Non-Executive Chairman of the Board at AICEP Global Parques a company that aims to provide infrastructured spaces for the settlement of companies, aiming to attract and retain national and foreign investment.

Previously Head of Treasury at Novabase/Celfocus, he also held finance and advisory roles at TIMWE, Martifer Group, EY, Banco Santander, and KPMG.

Francisco holds a PhD in Management, an MSc in Finance, and a degree in Economics, and is a certified accountant. Since 2013 he has taught finance, currently as a Visiting Professor at Nova SBE and Universidade Europeia. He is the author of seven peer-reviewed articles indexed on Scopus.
