Jack Thirolf is Head of Public Policy and External Affairs for Net Power, a clean energy technology company developing and deploying on-demand natural gas power while capturing nearly all carbon emissions and effectively eliminating traditional pollutants.

At Net Power, Mr. Thirolf is responsible for policy analysis and advocacy, community relations, sustainability, and communications.

Prior to joining Net Power, he spent 11 years at Enel North America working on regulatory affairs and public policy on behalf of the company’s renewable power generation, demand response, battery energy storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and energy trading business lines. Mr. Thirolf joined Enel after starting his career in energy policy working at the Business Council for Sustainable Energy, a Washington, D.C.-based trade association representing the U.S. energy efficiency, renewable energy, and natural gas industries. Prior to that, he worked as a community college teacher in Rạch Giá, Vietnam.

Mr. Thirolf received his bachelor’s degree with honors in Comparative Literature and a certificate in Judaic Studies from Princeton University. He earned a law degree with honors from the Georgetown University Law Center.
