Juan Mas Valor is Vena Group’s Chief Operating Officer, leading Vena Energy, the renewable energy business arm of Vena Group. In this role, he oversees the company’s operations and plays a pivotal part in shaping its strategic direction. He also serves as a member of Vena Group’s Sustainability Committee, reflecting his commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable development. As part of the Investment Committee, he provides operational leadership to support strategic capital allocation, drive portfolio performance, and ensure scalable execution in market expansion initiatives.
Prior to his current appointment, Juan held several key positions within Vena Group. He was previously Head of Business in Japan, where he led the company’s expansion and operations in one of Asia’s most advanced renewable energy markets. He also served as the Solar Technology Lead, where he was instrumental in driving innovation and advancing project development and execution across the region.
With a career spanning multiple countries and continents, Juan brings extensive experience in international collaboration and clean energy deployment. He previously worked for Juwi Holding AG as a Managing Director in Spain and Chile, and as a Co-Managing Director of a Juwi joint venture with Shizen Energy.
Juan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia in Spain. His leadership is marked by a commitment to sustainability, operational efficiency, and the advancement of renewable energy across Asia-Pacific and beyond.
