Kieran is the CEO and Co-Founder of Realta Fusion, an early-stage company developing fusion energy for applications in industrial process heat and power. Kieran has extensive experience in start-ups and venture capital, particularly in energy, climatetech, sustainable agriculture, and industrial biotech. He spent his early career in the chemical industry in roles across the globe – in Argentina, Germany, the UK, and the USA. Following that, he moved into start-ups and worked on advanced fuels, bioplastics (including the first 100% bio-based Coca-Cola™ bottle), waste-to-energy technologies, and now, fusion energy.
He has patents in biological crop protection and quantum computing. Kieran has a degree in Chemical Engineering from UCD, Ireland and an MBA from Stanford University.
