Lee is the DG for Net Zero, Nuclear and International, and is responsible for the delivery and implementation of the UK’s Net Zero programme, international climate policy, and ensuring the delivery, safety and security of the UK’s nuclear programme. 

This includes:

  • Cross Government Net Zero Strategy
  • International energy and climate policy 
  • Science and innovation for energy and climate
  • New Nuclear projects and infrastructure, the existing fleet, decommissioning, safety, security and safeguards
