Michael Lin Sheng is a Principal Investment Officer at International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, serving as the Energy Sector Lead for Asia Pacific with a focus on project development to advance energy transition, renewable energy integration, energy security and cross-border energy trade across the Asia Pacific region. With over 25 years of investment experience in energy and infrastructure across emerging markets in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, Michael brings deep expertise and strategic insight to his role. Prior to his current position, Michael was IFC’s Energy and Infrastructure Lead for Pakistan, and subsequently for Bangladesh. Before that, he led IFC’s investment program in the gas sector across the Asia Pacific.
