Nuri Doğan Karadeniz is the founding partner and has served as an Executive Board Member at Karpowership since 1997. With a background in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University, he began his career by leading energy projects in the Middle East region.
Nuri Doğan Karadeniz has played a pivotal role in the growth and success of Karpowership. He spearheaded the group’s entry into the energy industry, playing a foundational role in the establishment of Karpowership in 1996.
Over his 25-year tenure as a Board Member, Nuri Doğan Karadeniz has been instrumental in shaping Karpowership's global presence and strategy. He has actively managed the commercial operations of the company in diverse territories, with a particular focus on the Middle East and Asia. Notably, he pioneered energy trading and cross-border operations in the Middle East, significantly contributing to Karpowership’s market expansion and revenue growth.
Since 2019, Nuri Doğan Karadeniz has held the critical responsibility of overseeing the technical, commercial, and contractual management of Karpowership’s projects in the Asia region, ensuring their successful execution and fostering long-term growth in this dynamic market.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Nuri Doğan Karadeniz is a passionate philanthropist and dedicated supporter of the arts. He is an avid collector of modern art and actively supports young artists and museums.
He speaks Turkish, English and German fluently. He is married with two children and enjoys skiing and sailing in his free time.
