Professor Poh Seng (PS) Lee is Head and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the National University of Singapore and Executive Director of the Energy Studies Institute. A Fellow of ASME, he leads university-wide initiatives including NUS Sustainable Futures, the NUS Energy Solutions Hub, and the Singapore Energy Consortium. His research spans high-performance liquid cooling and sustainable data-centre systems, particularly AI-ready, two-phase direct-to-chip cooling, and energy-efficient building technologies. He has secured over S$25 million in research funding and is consistently ranked among the world’s most-cited mechanical engineering scholars. Professor Lee is passionate about bridging technology, markets, and policy—translating open testbed results into bankable guidance for low-carbon digital infrastructure.
