Roger Fouquet is a Principal Research Fellow and Deputy Director of Research at the Energy Studies Institute at the National University of Singapore, and a Visiting Senior Fellow at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change at the London School of Economics (LSE). He investigates the changing relationships between economic development, energy use and its environmental impacts. In 2006, his joint article was chosen for the Best Paper Award in The Energy Journal. In 2010, his book, 'Heat, Power and Light', was selected as one of three Outstanding Academic Titles in Business and Economics. He is the editor of the Handbook on Energy and Climate Change, of the Handbook on Green Growth, and of the book on The Economics of Renewable Energy.
