Dr. Saji PK has over 30 years of data center industry experience and started his career with a public sector research organization under the Department of Electronics, Government of India. Prior to his current role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as Director of Infrastructure Operations for Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa (APMEA), he has also held various CxO level positions in organizations like Sify, Airtel and Tata Communications in India.

Saji joined AWS in September 2019 and is currently responsible for the safety, security, availability and capacity delivery of data centre infrastructure across multiple countries in APMEA. He heads up an organization with more than 2,000 employees and is based in Singapore. The infrastructure footprint that Saji and his team manage has grown significantly during his time at AWS representing billions of dollars in investments across nine AWS Regions that contribute to local economies.

Saji has extensive experience in the roll-out of large data centre infrastructure. This includes delivering highly scalable applications and services to drive business outcomes and value for a range of enterprise vertical segments and developing cloud-based delivery models.

In his previous role, Saji was the Global Vice President, responsible for delivery & operations of global Cloud and Data Centre services at Tata Communications. Data Centre Services included all Data Center & Digital Infrastructure and Cyber Security Services in Tata Communications where Saji was leading a team of about 500+ global technology professionals with diverse multi-cultural backgrounds.

In July 2025, Saji completed his doctorate degree on Technology Innovation from the American Management University. Saji is also an author and is currently working on his third book titled “When the Winds Shift: Navigating Life's Inevitable Changes”.
