Steve is head of Structured & Project Finance Asia at OCBC in Singapore. He has 25 years of experience in project and infrastructure finance globally. His experiences cover renewables, transmission lines, BESS, smart meters, thermal power, LNG, FLNG/FPSO/FSRU, water treatment, waste management, metals & mining, etc. Most recently, he successfully closed Carbon Capture and Storage projects in the UK and a number of large-scale LNG liquefaction plants in the US. In 2025, he set up a dedicated ECA Finance team to leverage evolving and strategic mandates of Export Credit Agencies to deepen OCBC’s presence in energy transition sectors.
Prior to his role at OCBC, Steve held various positions as senior transactor at Korea Eximbank (a Korean Export Credit Agency), Deutsche Bank, ABN AMRO Bank, etc.
Steve holds a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University, USA and a Bachelor of Management from Yonsel University in Korea.
