Building Singapore’s Energy Future Together
12.30 PM
As Singapore’s energy consumption has increased over the years, we need to search for more sustainable energy –to keep the lights on, while keeping the city clean and green, said Dr Tan Wu Meng, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Trade and Industry and Foreign Affairs.

This morning, Dr. Tan spoke to Singaporean youth at the In Dialogue with Youth session, held in conjunction with SIEW 2018.

The Energy Market Authority (EMA) launched a new Energy Ambassadors Programme (EAP) to tap on the energy of young people and inspire them to be a force for positive change in the energy sector. The 10 youth will serve a two-year term and will be given opportunities to be exemplars and advocates to their peers and the larger youth community. Read the full release here.
