H.E Saynakhone Inthavong has had backgrounds in computer science from Deakin University of Australia; business study in Ceram school of business of France and management from national university of Lao PDR.

In 2012, he then shifted to himself to the area of natural resources and environment starting from director general of planning and cooperation department inside the ministry of natural resources and environment. He looked after planning matters and cooperation activities in the ministry for more than 6 years.

In 2018, he was appointed to Vice Minister of Natural Resources and Environment. Through his past years I have been supervising multiple areas within the ministry namely, planning, cooperation, land resource, meteorology and hydrology and most importantly the environment.

In addition to his routine work, he has also been invited as visiting lecturers for colleges and educational institutions in the country.
