Vanessa Interiano is the Coordinator for International Energy Affairs of El Salvador and Permanent Representative to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). Prior to this, she served as Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, concurrent to Ireland. Before her posting to London, she was a Senior Advisor at IRENA based in Abu Dhabi; and prior to that, a Senior Advisor at the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna.  She has also served as Ambassador to Austria and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Vienna. Her diplomatic career includes posts at the embassies in Washington D.C., Paris, and the Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York.
