INDUCT TECHNOLOGY
Manuel Chaufrein is Vice President Sales and Business Development for INDUCT TECHNOLOGY, the international company that provides the first autonomous, driverless, 100% electric shuttle NAVIA. After Europe and the USA, and recently introduced in Singapore in August 2013, NAVIA is INDUCT's core product, amongst other Mobility Systems, developed for intermodal transportation in Europe, the USA and Asia.
In 2012, he created the start up VIPAIR-e Premium Mobility Services, the first company to provide Premium zero emission, sustainable and electric mobility services to business people in the greater Paris region in France, as well as the development of numerous electro-mobile projects throughout the world.
During 2012 and 2013, he has been senior consulting adviser for Electric and sustainable mobility at M Prime Energy, Sustainable Development Consulting.
He has also extensively worked at PSA PEUGEOT CITROEN between 1996 to 2012 where he was the industry expert in developing worldwide business for Electric and Plug in hybrid vehicles.
Amongst others, he developed key partnerships with General Electric, Veolia/Transdev, the Bollore Group or the Deutche Bahn to roll out Electric Mobility projects such as Autolib in France or Flinkster and Multicity in Berlin.
His experience in mobility, innovation and the transport industry date back to 1996 where he began his career in Scandinavia, in charge of sales development, marketing and training for Peugeot. He later came back to France to be in charge of the Peugeot Worldwide training division setting up training centers in all developing countries and participating to the re-introduction of Peugeot in China.
From this position onward, he joined the Fleet and Corporate business serving his customers and business partners to improve their transport and mobility schemes.
One of his latest project at PSA Peugeot Citroën was the development of the public tender for carsharing project in Paris, Autolib.
He received a master's degree in International Business Management at the ESSEC business school at the Paris Campus in 1996 and a double diploma in Applied languages and European Affairs at the University Paris 10 and the Westminster University in London in 1995.
