Gas oversupply is one of the new energy realities reflected in the theme for SIEW 2016, where global energy leaders will convene to discuss the opportunities and challenges in this period of change.
LNG is key to this change. The increasing availability and decreasing price of LNG has allowed countries to diversify energy sources, meet demand spikes, and transition from outdated fuel sources to modern renewables, said Sultan Barakat, senior fellow and director of research at Brookings Doha.
