At the ASEAN-France Forum, H.E. Stephen Marchisio, Ambassador of France to Singapore, underscored the importance of partnerships in advancing regional power grid and clean energy developments across ASEAN and Europe.
The Forum marked the first ASEAN-labelled initiative under the ASEAN-France Development Partnership, bringing together policymakers, energy leaders, and industry experts to address the challenges of regional grid integration and contribute to advancing reliable and sustainable electricity networks in ASEAN.
Ambassador Marchisio highlighted that the partnership reflects a shared vision: strengthening regional interconnectivity, fostering clean energy innovation, and deepening cooperation between ASEAN member states and the European Union. He expressed optimism that the partnership will continue to drive innovation, investment, and regional cooperation—and reinforce a collective vision for a secure and sustainable energy landscape.
