• Dedicated to enhancing distribution network reliability, operational excellence and asset performance to ensure a resilient, efficient and customer-focused power supply.

• Drives continuous improvements in network efficiency and digital transformation.

• Enables greater integration of Renewable Energy (RE) to support Malaysia's energy transition agenda and TNB's Net Zero 2050 aspiration.

CAREER JOURNEY:

• Over two decades of service with TNB, building extensive experience in distribution operations, asset management and business transformation.

• Previously served as Head of Operations, Distribution Network, where he was instrumental in strengthening system reliability, improving SAIDI and CAIDI performance and optimising operating expenditure.

• Held key leadership roles including Managing Director of Tenaga Switchgear Sdn. Bhd. (TSG) and General Manager of Distribution at SESB.

• Held various regional and maintenance positions, grounding his leadership in strong technical expertise and enterprise-wide operational experience.

BOARD LEADERSHIP & INDUSTRY CONTRIBUTIONS:

• Provides strategic oversight to the industry through board memberships at TNB Research Sdn. Bhd. (TNBR), TSG Ormazabal  Sdn. Bhd., TNBX and Vantage RE Limited.

• Serves as Deputy Chairman 1 for the International Community on Electricity Distribution (CIRED) Malaysia for the 2025 – 2027 term. 

• Contributes to professional standards as a member of the Engineering Technology Accreditation Council (ETAC) for the 2025 – 2026 term.
