The Sun Electric Group, one of the global pioneers in solar energy solutions, is Singapore's first fully licensed solar energy retail company.

Sun Electric is transforming how people consume energy by connecting rooftop owners with clean energy customers through its proprietary power supply and energy management system that successfully embeds solar energy into a city's energy mix. Individual solar energy producers can track their contributions to the grid seamlessly and in real-time, while customers can monitor their usage easily on this platform.

At both ends of the scale are property owners who provide rooftop spaces to Sun Electric through its SolarSpaceTM programme and electricity consumers who consume clean solar electricity. The company bridges the gap between both parties through its novel platform which is the first real blended implementation of PV worldwide.

Sun Electric plans to bring its innovative solutions to other markets in the region and globally, particularly in the United States of America.

In Singapore, the company is currently working with government agencies and industrial companies to maximise the potential of unused roof spaces. It has already sealed more than 4.5MWp worth of solar installation projects to date, which is enough to provide for 1,000 four-room HDB flats.

Sun Electric was founded by Dr Matthew Peloso in 2013 after years of research in quantum communications and solar energy technologies. The company is also a participant of the Singapore Exchange’s Electricity Futures Market.
