Mr Abdulla A. Al-Hussaini is responsible for all global LNG marketing activities, including managing market developments and new businesses, opportunity evaluations and optimization and sales contract negotiations.
Mr Al-Hussaini has been with the Qatargas marketing group for over eight years, predominantly focused on long-term LNG sales into Asia. Prior to his current role, he was the Assistant Director for Short-Term Trading and Optimization, where he managed an integrated sales team comprised of different functional groups. The analyst, traders and shippers in the team focused on the sale and optimisation of all contracts with a duration of 12 months or less. From 2009-2012, he held the post of the LNG Committee Secretary under the International Gas Union. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas, Arlington.
