Mr Brian Warshay's past experience has included performing a variety of environmental services and management and financial consulting, as well as green building services.
As Research Associate, Mr Warshay contributes to the Smart Grid and Grid Storage Intelligence practice at Lux Research. He works with companies to provide insight into the future technologies, policies, and strategies that will be instrumental in the transition to more flexible electricity grid infrastructure. Prior to joining Lux Research, he worked at Malcolm Pirnie Inc. as an environmental consultant, focusing on solid waste management, waste-to-energy, landfill gas-to-energy, environmental permitting, and green building strategies for municipal clients. Mr Warshay completed his Master's in Engineering Systems and Management at the Masdar Institute in Abu Dhabi, UAE. His thesis was to perform a lifecycle assessment of a novel saltwater biofuel production system designed for implementation in coastal deserts. He also holds a BS in Natural Resources as well as a BS in Environmental Engineering Technology from Cornell University.
