Mr Mark T Morey has two roles within the Global Power Sales group of Alstom Power, serving both as Director of Fuel Intelligence and Director of Asia-Pacific Marketing. In those roles he is charged with developing strategies related to marketing the company's power products based upon trends in the coal, natural gas, oil, biomass and emission credit markets, as well as to assess market developments and competitive pressures in the Asia-Pacific market.

Mr Morey is based in Singapore. Prior to joining Alstom, he was a Director at Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA) and also at Platts Research and Consulting, where he conducted research on energy related topics and managed consulting projects for numerous clients. Mr Morey also worked for two US coal-producing companies, first as Director of Strategic Studies for CONSOL Energy in Pittsburgh and later as Vice President of Marketing for AMVEST Coal Sales in Virginia.

Mr Morey holds degrees from the College of Wooster (Ohio) and the Pennsylvania State University. He has over 25 years of experience in the coal and power generation business.
