Mr Omar Sekkat has extensive experience developing projects and securing debt. He has negotiated and closed deals across the globe, aggregating more than US$15 billion, primarily in the energy, oil & gas, petrochemicals, maritime and infrastructure sectors.

Mr Sekkat started his career with DNB Bank (previously known as DnB NOR) in London, before moving to the Oslo headquarters, and more recently to Singapore. Prior to joining DNB in 2006, he held various roles in research, engineering and business development. He has a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and a Master's in Energy Finance from Cass Business School.
