Mr Prabhakar Nair in his current role leads LanzaTech's technology commercialisation and business activities globally.

Mr Prabhakar Nair is LanzaTech's Executive VP for Business Development. Mr Nair joined LanzaTech in 2010 after having served over 30 years at UOP LLC, a Honeywell company. Here, he was most recently Marketing Director for the Renewable Energy and Chemicals business unit. In that role, he was responsible for creating linkages and alliances with feedstock suppliers and end users of fuel technologies in the aviation and automotive sectors, tracking global biofuel legislation, and developing the business unit's strategic plan. From 1999-2005, he served as General Manager of UOP's India operations. Mr Nair also spent a considerable portion of his UOP career in various Asian locations including China, South Korea, Indonesia, Singapore and India.

He holds a BChE from City University of NY, an MChE from Illinois Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Northwestern University. He is conversant in several Asian languages.
