Ms Rutu Dave focuses on programmatic CDM opportunities as well as explores the potential for urban areas to engage in carbon and climate finance.

Ms Dave works on helping clients in the regions of East Asia & Pacific and South Asia to access climate and carbon finance. Lately, she has been focusing on programmatic CDM opportunities as well as exploring the potential for urban areas to engage in carbon and climate finance. Prior to joining the World Bank, she worked for the IPCC technical support unit on climate change mitigation and the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency. She has authored several leading publication on climate change as well as on development, trade and environment. Ms Dave studied at the University of East Anglia-UK, Wageningen University, Netherlands, and Yale University, US. She was also a Fellow at Harvard University,  Kennedy School of Government, US.
