Anil Kumar Joshi is responsible for setting up the LNG Project at Mundra for GSPC LNG as Senior Vice President. He has more than twenty nine years of experience in the oil and gas sector in the areas of Projects & Business Development, Project Management and Contracts.
A graduate in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in the year 1983, he commenced his career with joined Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited. After working in ONGC in operations, project management and business development, he moved to Petronet LNG Limited. He was the project manager of India’s first LNG terminal at Dahej (5 MMTPA capacity) and thereafter its expansion to 10 MMTPA capacity. In Petronet LNG Limited, he was heading the Projects and Business Development function till 2011. His areas of expertise include:
- Development of projects in oil and gas sector from concept to commissioning
- Management of large turnkey EPC Contracts for facilities and other contracts for oil & gas field equipment & services; integrating contract requirements with business objectives
- Identifying new opportunities, evaluating options and managing strategies
- Setting up and structuring of joint ventures with requisite technical and business inputs
