Anthony J Jude is presently the Chair, Energy Committee, Senior Advisor concurrently Practice Leader (Energy) in the Regional and Sustainable Development Department.

Over 26 years of development work experience of which over 20 years has been with ADB in various positions, including Director of Energy and Transport Division, Director of Energy and Water Division, Director of Energy Division in the Southeast Asia Department, and Deputy Country Director in ADB Cambodia Resident Mission. Current key tasks involve leading energy knowledge management within ADB; Chairing the Energy Committee of Practice meetings on ADB financed energy projects; sharing knowledge on clean energy namely energy efficiency, renewable energy (biomass based projects, solar, wind and geothermal); leading work on the Asia Solar Energy Fund; working with International Energy Agency (IEA) on regional energy training programs and policy formulation; World Bank and UN on sustainable energy for all; low carbon technology transfer market project; and supporting energy policy and institutional strengthening including power sector reforms as well as supporting regional power cooperation.
