Mr Hanna is the Industry Managing Director of Accenture's global energy practice. He has led a wide portfolio of work for a variety of international and national oil company clients. During Mr Hannah's career at Accenture, he has focused primarily on business strategy development and implementation. His client experiences span post-merger integration, new business process model architectures and implementation, consumer research, brand management, new product development and market-entry strategies.
Mr Hannah has had broad international experience, having led engagements in Argentina, Australia, China, India, Germany, Italy, Kuwait and the United States. While working in the industry, he and his family have been posted to Dubai, Oman, France and the US. He joined Accenture in 1990. Prior to joining Accenture, he had 10 years of international management experience with BP Oil International.
Mr Hannah leads Accenture’s research on Energy Transition and New Energy Architectures and is participating as a council member for the World Economic Forum (WEF) on these areas. He has recently contributed to The Forum's New Energy Architecture Initiative to assess how countries can enable an effective transition to more secure, sustainable and affordable energy systems.
He now lives in London and enjoys watching rugby and cricket with his family. Mr Hannah has a Bachelor of Science degree (Hons) in Economics and Economic Policy from Loughborough University, England.
