Cameron has extensive experience in the Australian Market, being with Snowy Hydro for over 15 years. Snowy Hydro is the leading provider of structured risk management products to the Australian Electricity Market.

Cameron joined as a spot trader in 1998, with Financial Markets experience; he worked his way through the business to eventually manage the wholesale Trading team. Cameron has worked on numerous aspects of the market, including preparing for the transition from state based to a National Electricity Market (NEM) in December 1998, integration of Trading and Production teams, short and long term contract negotiations and the introduction of new futures exchanges in 2002. Cameron has also been the Chairman of the Australian Financial Markets Association (AFMA) Electricity Committee since June 2011. The committee amongst other things oversaw a smooth transition into Australia’s domestic carbon scheme in July 2012.
